I was in desperate need of some new Winter shoes until these came along. My studded slippers have pretty much bit the dust after being worn in a downpour and squelching around all the way home in them. For a couple years now I've been quite boring with my shoe choices, really just sticking to black. You may think brown is no better, but especially wearing them with black tights is quite strange for me. These smart shoes are by Arian via Spartoo, and were a snip at £42.99. I love the cute little faux suede parts and leather areas. I wore them for the first time yesterday and got zero rubbing (seriously strange for me, usually I get at least a couple blisters on each foot) and they were so comfortable. Most of all, they kept my feet dry, HURRAH! They're definitely going to be on my most worn list this Winter, and they're encouraging me to think about my footwear a bit more instead of chucking on the same pair of shoes everyday. xo
