It's been a while since I've done a thrifty finds post.. I've really just not found that much recently that I've wanted to keep for myself, and I've not been car booting in a couple weekends either. But I ahsolutely love everything I'm showing you today, so that makes up for it really ;)
Mum and I tried our best not to be outside during the torrential rain earlier in the week, so after going round the Chorley mini car boot and charity shops, we visited Bygone Times. We picked up a few bits and bobs, and I managed to spy this ace tartan large flask on a high up shelf for £2.50! I spent the rest of the time walking round hugging it close to me in admiration.
Gaaaaahd, I am so in love with this! During a particularly good ebay spell a few weeks ago, I allowed myself to have a little wander on ebay and see if there's anything I could buy. Usually I just look for clothes, but I spotted this with around ten minutes to go, and before I knew it, I'd bid and won! It cost less than £15 including postage which is pretty good really, and making a nice bit of extra storage in my kitchen. It's a bit empty yet as I haven't quite decided what to put on it.
I had to pinch this off Mum to add to my other beer mat after she found the whole horoscope collection. They didn't last long though and all sold at the next fair we did. I'm quite into checking my horoscope even though I know it's all a load of codswallop really!
This is another little thing we picked up from Bygone Times. It was on a girls stall with some things on top so I thought she may be using it just as decoration, but Mum checked and saw the price tag of £3.50, which for me is too expensive for a crochet mat. We've admired it a couple times before though and knew the price wasn't going to go down, so Mum bought it for me :) she's a good'un! There is literally only two more pieces of furniture in my house which doesn't have one of these on!
What do you think of my finds? Have you found anything great this week? Happy weekend! xo.
