I'm trying something a little new today.. outdoor outfit posts! I set up my tripod in my back garden as I realised as much I might hate spending any time out there due to overgrown wall plants, falling apart walls and algae all over the floor, it might make a nice backdrop! I especially love the yellow and duck egg blue door which is falling apart slightly. I'm not confident enough to venture out any further than this to take pictures of myself.. My next door neighbour came out to hang up some washing and it was embarrassing enough making up excuses as to what I was doing then!

This burgundy pencil skirt is one of my favourite pieces for Winter. It's slightly ill fitting; loose around the waist, tight around the hips and it falls to mid-shin length which causes the slowest, most uncomfortable walking ever! I'm thinking this year I might have to lop it to just below the knees so I'm not walking at snail pace everytime I wear it. I teamed it with my favourite mohair and angora jumper which I nicked from the stock pile quite a while ago. I didn't photograph my accessories as I'm pretty much a numpty, but I was wearing my Allegras and my new Heisenberg tote bag, which I'll have to show you at a later date! If any of you love Breaking Bad, for £3.99 you'll need this in your life!

earrings: vintage, jumper: vintage, skirt: ASOS, rings: vintage, belt: charity shop (50p), nails: Nails inc. Hampstead HeathJermyn Street, with Models Own black nail art pen.

  3. I know how awkward it is to take photos of yourself outside and having to explain to people... but you should do it more often! The backdrop really is lovely and you get much better lighting :)
